Welcome to The Manor Practice
The Manor Practice is a general medical services GMS Training Practice. We are now a team of 8 doctors plus a GP Registrar and 2 Nurse Practitioners with supportive nursing and administration teams.
The whole team strongly believe in the traditional values of general practice - the continuity of care and the development of high quality services delivered close to home.
Our practice area covers an area from the edge of Lancing, Shoreham inc Shoreham Beach, Southwick, Fishersgate through to West Portslade.
Covid vaccinations - update 05/01/2021
Our central booking team (Innovations in Primary Care) will contact patients to book their covid vaccine appointment on behalf of the practice. There is no need for patients to contact the practice. We kindly ask that our patients refrain from calling us to request a vaccination, as these additional vaccine enquiries are making our phone lines exceptionally busy and are causing longer wait times for patients wishing to book appointments. The booking team will contact you as soon as vaccines become available.
Please note, the practice has no control over delivery dates of vaccines, manufacturer of vaccine, nor vaccine numbers. With that in mind, our covid vaccination clinics may be arranged at short notice, and may run from 8am until 8pm (as we must ensure social distancing for patients and staff and have a very short timescale to use vaccines up by).
We thank you all for your patience and understanding. We look forward to playing our part in helping to beat this virus.
From today (18/1/21), we are now able to invite all health and care workers to book a vaccination at one of the six hospital-based vaccination sites across Sussex. This includes all of your teams, not just frontline members of the team.
All you have to do is visit: <https://www.sussexhealthandcare.uk/keepsussexsafe/sussex-covid-19-vaccination-programme/workforcevax/> and you will be able to access the booking systems for each of the hospital hubs. Please follow the steps on the page, and when you or your team members are attending an appointment, including taking ID.”
We are not arranging further vaccinations for staff in this group UNLESS they are our staff, or work at one of our residential homes.
Harbour View Healthcare, Northbourne Medical Centre and The Manor Practice are uniting to form Adur Health Partnership
Our three well-established practices are merging to become one single primary healthcare provider: Adur Health Partnership. Our clinical computer systems were migrated mid December.
As a result of the merger, Online Services (Patient Access) have unfortunately been affected. It will be necessary to re-set online access for all existing patients to ensure you are connected to the new merged practice ‘Adur Health Partnership’. Please click on the Online Services Tab above for further information or to order a repeat prescription whilst you wait for your account to be reset.
Further details on the computer merge can be found on this patient information letter here: Adur Health Partnership - Patient Information Letter
